Welcome! We are so excited to be sharing our special day with you! Please note that our wedding day schedule does not follow the typical wedding/reception schedule. Please make sure you read your invitation carefully, and show up at the appropriate time. We will be having an intimate family ceremony followed by an intimate family dinner. Our Wedding Reception will start later in the evening, and while a typical dinner meal will NOT be provided to those invited to the Reception only, we will have plenty of snacks and drinks, as well as cake!

VENUE RULES

Thank you in advanced for taking the time to read through these. These rules are directly from our venue contract. These rules apply to everyone and breaking them can result in some very hefty fines as well as the possibilty of our event being immediately terminated. Please note that by RSVP-ing YES to any part of our wedding day, and attending any of our events, you are agreeing to follow these rules. Failure to do so will result in you and your party being personally billed for any and all fines incurred.

  • There is absolutely no smoking of any kind (cigars, cigarettes, vape, juul, etc) anywhere on the premises - this includes the parking lot. There is a massive fine if anyone is seen smoking or any cigarette butts are found. Please dont try and be sneaky as you will personally be charged after the wedding. Should you choose to smoke, you may do so inside of your vehicle or drive off of the property onto Kent Road.
  • Do not bring any outside food, drinks, or alcohol unless you have recieved explicit permission from the bride or groom, as doing so will also incur a fine.
  • If there are guests in your party that are under the age of 21, you are personally responsible for making sure they are not consuming alcohol. The venue has the right to terminate our contract and kick us out on the spot if this happpens.
  • You are responisble for being or designating a sober driver to get you to and from the venue. We were informed that Uber/Lyft/Hotel Shuttles will not drive out to the venue, as it's in an isolated area. We will not be providing transportation of any kind. Please do not drink and drive. All vehicles must be removed from the parking lot at the end of the event at 11:00pm and are not to be left overnight.
  • You and your party must be off of the premises BEFORE 11:00pm - after that we are charged a $350/hour fee.
  • All vehicles must be parked in the designated gravel parking lot to the South of the Venue, with the exception of handicap parking, which can be found on the East side of the Venue. No vehicles shall be parked on the drive or any other lawn surface.
  • If possible, please only drive personal vehicles (no buses, shuttles, conversion vans, etc) to and from the venue. If for some reason you or your party will be arriving in anything except a personal vehicle, please reach out to the bride and groom immediately, as there are driveway restrictions and we are required to get venue approval for each one.
  • Absolutely no firearms or weapons of any kind are allowed on the property.
  • All children under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times. A cleaning charge will be deducted from the Security Deposit for cleaning up rocks that have been displaced and/or are found in grassy areas.

DRESS CODE

Our event dress code is cocktail/semi-formal. Please keep in mind that it will also be November in Indiana, so it will most likely be cold (we will have heaters). We kindly ask that should you choose to wear a coat, please mind the dress code. We will have a short outdoor ceremony and outdoor family photos, and the rest of the night will take place indoors. Please refrain from wearing green and burnt orange as those are our wedding party colors.

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM WEARING THE FOLLOWING:

  • Colors: please avoid any shade of white/cream/ivory, bright/vibrant colors, and pastels. The bridal party will be wearing burnt orange.
  • Clothes: Shorts, capris, cargo pants, jeans or jean of any kind or color, athletic/athleisure/loungewear clothing, t-shirts, distressed clothing, leggings, sweatshirts/hoodies
  • Outerwear: rain coats/jackets, ponchos, athletic/exercise coats/jackets, bright-colored coats
  • Shoes: cowboy boots, crocs, heydudes, tennis shoes (fashion or athletic), flip flops, converse, etc.

Please use your best judgement and ahdere to the dress code. If you aren't sure what to wear, or whether or not your outfit is appropriate, please reach out to Gabby or Sam and we would be more than happy to help!

We kindly ask that all invited guests respect our carefully planned guest list. We understand that you may have social commitments or close friends you'd like to bring along, but due to space limitations and our desire to create an intimate celebration, we are unable to accommodate additional plus ones beyond those specifically mentioned on the invitation/online RSVP. Each invitation is personalized to ensure an enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Unless your invitation includes your children, we kindly request an adults-only celebration. While we adore children, we have decided to create an atmosphere that allows all our guests to relax and enjoy the festivities to the fullest. We hope this advance notice allows you ample time to make any necessary arrangements for childcare. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in honoring our wishes for an adults-only wedding.

While we understand the importance of safe transportation, we regret to inform you that we are unable to provide transportation to and from the venue. Due to driveway restrictions and venue approval requirements, we are unable to arrange for buses, shuttles, or conversion vans.

Please note that ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft do not typically operate in the area surrounding our venue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The safety of our guests is of utmost importance to us, and we strongly discourage driving under the influence. We kindly request that all our guests make responsible arrangements for transportation, such as arranging designated drivers, using local taxi services, or carpooling with other guests.
